The exorbitant cost of establishing a park in Basra, amounting to nearly 200 billion

A family park near Basra Airport, worth 99 billion, 900 million, and 400 thousand dinars.
A contract document has been leaked for a project to build a family park worth 99 billion, 900 million and 400 thousand Iraqi dinars.
The document issued by the Basra Governorate Diwan, signed by Governor Asaad Al-Eidani, to establish the park from petrodollar allocations for a period of 845 days.
The referral came in accordance with direct referrals and within the powers granted to the governor, and it is less than 100 billion dinars.
Some experts considered the direct referral and the amount of the sum to be suspicious, noting that Basra is in need of essential service projects, in addition to their questions about the petrodollar sums, which the Basra government always claims the federal government has not disbursed.
Activists called on regulatory authorities to open an investigation into all the circumstances surrounding this referral and to clarify the reasons behind the approval of this sum, known as the number 999.99...and also how this company was chosen, given that it has several major projects that it has not completed for a long time.
